We're here to help
Homeowners

As a homeowner, your property is one of your most important assets, therefore you must have complete trust in a Land Surveyor.

A Land Surveyor is the first person involved in any building project such as a new house, home renovation or subdivision of your backyard and therefore sets the framework for obtaining accurate information.

Our Licensed Land Surveyors are registered with the Surveyors Registration Board of Victoria. We will provide you with professional advice and work with you to achieve your desired goals.

The tasks Webster Survey Group can help you with include;

Land Survey for Town Planning or a Development Permit
At the commencement of every project a Feature and Level Survey (also known as an Existing Conditions Survey) is undertaken. The location of all relevant features on a site such as vegetation, buildings, levels and services are accurately measured and then drawn in a digital format for CAD programs.

Feature and Level Surveys must capture clear and precise information as they are relied upon by other consultants engaged in a project such as architects, engineers, service designers and arborists.

Webster Survey Group has extensive experience in undertaking Feature and Level Surveys for homeowners. We understand what information needs to be captured and this ensures there are no extra costs for delays encountered due to missing information.

Subdivision
Webster Survey Group has extensive experience in subdivisions and can manage the process when you are looking to subdivide your property.

The subdivision process is complex and involves engagement with numerous third parties including Municipal Councils, Sewer & Water Authorities, Power Authorities, NBN, CFA, MFB and Vic Roads.
Webster Survey Group can guide you through the subdivision process and ensure you obtain titles without delays or any unnecessary costs.

New Fence Construction or Boundary Dispute
A Title Re-Establishment Survey is undertaken to determine the precise location of the legal title boundaries of a parcel of land. This survey can only be carried out by a Licensed Land Surveyor.

This type of survey can also bring to light any potential issues that could impact the use or development of a parcel such as a significant encroachment of perimeter fencing, the unexpected location of an existing easement or any covenant that could prohibit the intended use of the land.
We strongly recommend a Licensed Surveyor is engaged to undertake a title re-establishment survey before purchasing a property. The cost of this survey is a miniscule percentage of the purchase price and ensures you are actually purchasing what is reflected in a contract of sale.
Additionally, if you need to replace a fence or are in dispute with a neighbour on the location of a title boundary we will attend the site and confirm this location as well as placing permanent markers for future reference.
